A letter to His Highness Crown Prince of Congress(I) Mr. Rahul Gandhi regarding RSS

His Highness Crown Prince of Congress(I) Mr. Rahul Gandhi,

Trouble of India and other media is astonishingly happy to put forward your Congress-y secular views. By the way for normal human being, meaning of secularism is “Secularism is the concept that government or other entities should exist separately from religion and/or religious beliefs”.

However the Congress-y secularism always starts with Religion and end up with a definition of secularism as “Hit Hindu and get Muslim Votes”. And this Crown Prince is more than happy to put forward views of his party The Anti-Nationalist Congress (I), which he got in heredity as an heir of Royal Gandhi family who do not have any relation to Mr. M. K. Gandhi.

Some of the information for the Crown Prince of Congress (I) which cannot be found on Congress-y website, but can easily get on Wikipedia:

1. Field Marshal Cariappa in his speech to RSS volunteers said "RSS is my heart's work. My dear young men, don't be disturbed by uncharitable comments of interested persons. Look ahead! Go ahead! The country is standing in need of your services"

2. Dr Zakir Hussain the former President of India once told to Milad Mehfil in Monghyar on November 20, 1949 "The allegations against RSS of violence and hatred against Muslims are wholly false. Muslims should learn the lesson of mutual love, cooperation and organization from RSS.

3. Noted Gandhian leader and the leader of Sarvoday movement, Jayaprakash Narayan, who earlier was a vocal opponent of RSS had the following to say about it in 1977 "RSS is a revolutionary organization. No other organization in the country comes anywhere near it. It alone has the capacity to transform society, end casteism and wipe the tears from the eyes of the poor." He further added "I have great expectations from this revolutionary organization which has taken up the challenge of creating a new India"

4. RSS was invited by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to take part in the Indian Republic day parade of 1963.

5. Later in 1965 and 1971 Indo-Pak wars too, the RSS volunteers offered their services to maintain law and order of the country and were apparently the first to donate blood. (Jaffrelot Christophe, Hindu nationalist movement and the Indian politics, page 243).

6. It has been noted that the RSS volunteers participated in the Bhoodan movement organized by Gandhian leader Vinobha Bhave.

7. "Literally within minutes RSS volunteers were at the scenes of distress. Across Gujarat, the (RSS) cadres were the saviors. Even as the state machinery went comatose in the first two days after the quake, the cadre-based machinery of the Sangh fanned out throughout the state. Approximately 35,000 RSS members in uniform were pressed into service” – Outlook, Feb 12, 2001

8. An RSS-affiliated NGO, Seva Bharati, has adopted 57 children (38 Muslims and 19 Hindus) from militancy affected areas of Jammu and Kashmir to provide them education at least up to Higher Secondary level.

9. "RSS has played an honorable role in maintaining Hindu-Sikh unity before and after the murder of Indira Gandhi in Delhi and in other places"
"It was the Congress (I) leaders who instigated mobs in 1984 and got more than 3000 people killed. I must give due credit to RSS and the BJP for showing courage and protecting helpless Sikhs during those difficult days. No less a person than Atal Bihari Vajpayee himself intervened at a couple of places to help poor taxi drivers” - Kushwant Singh: “Congress (I) is the Most Communal Party”,

10. The RSS has been banned three times by the Government of India.
a. It was banned first by the British,
b. then again after independence in 1948 after Mahatma Gandhi “Vadha”
c. then again after independence in when Grandmother of His Highness confisticated Civil Rights of general people by declaring emergency.

In future as an heir of Royal Gandhi family, you may like to ban this Nationalist organization whose leaders are based on merit and believe in democracy against Congress(I) tradition of heredity and monarchy

I don’t think that your monarch Congress(I) party will teach you these simple things, thus a simple try from a proud Indian.

Ayodhya verdict and disappointment for Indian media

It was sad news for Indian media that Ayodhya verdict was very balanced decision and it was well accepted by people. “Third Class” (i believe that it is the lowest class available in India) reporters of “Sansanikhrej (Sensational)” 24x7 – Bullshit –News Channels were deeply disappointed. People like Barakha Dutt (ill-known for Kargil and Mumbai blast), didn’t get a chance to ask a family member in a communal riot, “How are you feeling about communal riots?” and then “how many people are in your house?” and finally “what is your house address?”

It is not just a plight of Bullshit 24x7 channels, mainstream print media is also sad. They must have planned some very sensational (Bad news for normal Indian) news on front page; however, thanks to God, it never happened. Indian newspaper like Times of India is so frustrated that it put sensational headline “Verdict a joke, not acceptable to Muslims: Imam” - to the article praising communal harmony. Today, 22 Oct 2008, If you open the home page of BBC and CNN you will find the news of India’s first mission to the moon, Chandrayaan-I. I'm very happy today like so many others to see that India is now will be the part of elite club of "space" nations. This is news of National and International importance, News of celebration, News to be Proud of ISRO, the organisation, scientist and engineers. That's why News portals like BBC and CNN consider it as a Front Page News.

Now, look at our own Indian News websites.

Times of India: I like it, it's the only Indian news portal which shows Chandrayaan-I as a bold front news and with all the updates,

The Hindu: I was expecting Times of India kind of thing from it, but again they put this non-updated news much below the other "so important" news,

Hidustan Times: I think they haven't started the work for today similar to The Hindu as to update the news, but thank God they at least put it on the front.

Now here comes my Favorite "Stupid - Sensational - News Channels"

First The Breaking News from The Stupidest News Channel: INDIA TV EXCLUSIVE: 64 YEAR OLD YOGI STEPS INTO FIRE 13 TIMES IN A DAY... wow such a Sensational News.... Man gaye! kise! Aapki Parakhi Najar (which always bring sensational news or in other words, Sensation from the news) aur India TV donoko!!!

Secondly Sensational News from The Stupidest News Channel: Thank you so much Mr. Sharma considering such a non-sensational and unimportant news in your News section.

Finally another "Stupid - Sensational - News Channel": Aaj Tak: Television Academy ka Sarvashreshta News Channel Award - Lagatat 7 warshose.... taliya.....

India is a democratic country and every news portal (newspaper/news channel) has right to publish news and decide their importance, but does it mean considering bright and positive news like Chandrayaan-I as a low profile and only showing negative and sensational news.

So the question is, Whether Indian News portal worth of reading?

I hate Indian News Channels, especially IndiaTV

Last month, I got a call from my brother asking me "Why are you not picking up the phone, father is calling you since a long", I told him that I was preparing my dinner so I couldn’t hear the phone ring. I immediately called my father and for the first time he scold me for not picking up the phone. I live in Singapore and my family is in India. He seems to be nervous from his voice and he told me my mother haven’t had any food since morning; I asked why, then he told me that there was a news on some channel that world is going to end because of some experiment in Europe and my mother was worried as I’m alone here!!!

Thanks to the stupid news channels like the IndiaTV. They were so sure about so called “Pralaya” that for the whole week these stupid fellows were showing the same news again and again. Here is some good research made on a blog on this news.
